Who We Are

DOWN HOME REALTY, LLLP is a family owned and managed company.  We began our adventure as a property management company helping absentee owners enjoy time in their homes on occasion while gaining revenue to help them offset their costs of home ownership.  We saw a need for changes in the way other companies were servicing their clients, so we tailored a program to fit around their individual needs.  We’ve been in operation since 2011 and have taken our property management from 4 homes to well over 300 managed properties.  In the spring of 2018 we expanded our services to include real estate sales.  Our sales staff quickly grew from one sales agent to eleven.  We strive for exceptional service in assisting buyers and sellers in the tri-county area…Sumter, Marion & Lake counties.  We attribute our success to employing a team of people who hold the same core values we do as a company.

Integrity

No other single attribute of a person or of a business can have such an impact on success or failure.  We believe that every action must be taken with truth and honesty, and if we must ask ourselves if it is all right to do something, it probably is not.  There must be honesty in every action and truth in every word.  We expect honesty from our employees and our sales staff.

Service

Our clients and customers have a right to expect outstanding service.  We are not paid for our time, but for our service.  If we expect to be well paid, we must provide the highest level of service available.  We expect our employees and our sales staff to provide excellent service.

Accountability

Sometimes even the most competent professionals make mistakes.  We understand this fact.  Our clients and customers must be happy with the transaction, or we will not get repeat business.  If we make a mistake, we must be willing to stand accountable, and to make it right with the client or customer.  We expect our employees and our sales staff to be accountable for all of their actions and stand accountable if a client’s expectation is damaged.

Communication

It is nearly impossible to go through a day without the use of communication.  Both written and person-to-person interaction is at the heart of all communication.  We expect our employees and sales staff to return all calls and emails in a timely manner, because great communication leads to positive reviews by clients and customers, which then leads to a favorable impression by non-customers.

Hard Work

No organization can grow and prosper unless each member of the team puts forth the maximum effort.  Often, we feel a tendency to “let down”, and to be less than our best.  We expect hard work from our employees and our sales staff.

Professional Competence

We should never undertake an assignment for a client or customer unless we have the training and experience to do the job.  We believe in continuing education, for only by learning better ways to provide service can we enhance our reputation.  We expect our employees and sales staff to continue learning.
